Fishing Master Giant Fish and Weather Events
Weather appears every 30 minutes and despawns after 10 minutes, according to the current official FAQ. The creator’s snowstorm demonstration points to a boss at a variable island, so prepare your travel and skill setup before searching.
What the official weather FAQ actually tells you
| Rule | Player implication |
|---|---|
| Weather every 30 minutes | Use an observed event as a local reference; no official universal UTC start time is given. |
| Weather despawns after 10 minutes | A search has a limited active window. Prepare your rod, skills and accessible route ahead of it. |
| Boss location varies in the creator walkthrough | Check unlocked islands rather than camping one assumed permanent spawn. |
Prepare and search during an active event
- 01
Prepare the setup first
Use a rod that can land ordinary fish in your reached area and verify that its attached skills are usable. A bigger fish increases the cost of discovering a missing skill mid-fight.
- 02
Watch the weather and announcements
When an event begins in your server, note when you observed it. The source describes a snowstorm and a randomly placed boss fish. It does not prove every weather type uses identical boss rules.
- 03
Check the islands you can actually fish on
Use a boat or an already-unlocked Fast Travel destination. Arrival without access does not remove the island gate.
- 04
Follow the actual encounter controls
Respond to the displayed minigame and use your equipped skills. If the catch stalls at its finishing marker, check skill readiness before blaming rod strength.
A useful timing example without a guessed countdown
If weather begins at 14:05 in your observed session, the official 10-minute duration suggests a window ending around 14:15. That is a local example, not a published daily schedule. Joining another server or observing an event late changes what you know about the remaining time.
This site does not calculate a next-spawn clock from your device time: the official FAQ supplies intervals but no global phase or server-alignment rule.
Choose the next improvement after a failed attempt
If you repeatedly miss prompts, practice the encounter controls on ordinary fish. If you reach a finishing marker with no ready skill, change timing or attachment. If ordinary fights remain very slow after those checks, compare the damage of an affordable rod.
The source set does not establish a universal boss minimum stat, guaranteed location, spawn probability or complete species list. Those exact values are left open rather than converted into invented requirements.
